Elections for West Side Democrats Leadership

**** To vote in club elections you must be current with your dues and be a member for at least 60 days.

**** You also MUST be in attendance to vote. After the meeting, all attendees will be sent an electronic ballot.

The following are positions for elections:

·       President: Shall preside over meetings, carry out tasks assigned by the membership, work with WSD leadership and Political leaders tin executing policies and programs of WSD.

·       Vice President of Communications Committee: Shall be responsible for the review and publication and dissemination of WSD information and publicizing WSD events, meetings and functions.

·       Vice President of Programming and Events: Shall be responsible for arranging guest speakers and special events.

·       Vice President of Membership and Public Outreach: Responsible for recruitment of new members, establishing relationships with other community organizations, and maintenance of WSD member list.

·       Vice President of Social Media and Digital Communications: Responsible for establishing and maintaining WSD’s online presences and activities.

·       Vice President of Fundraising: Responsible for WSD’s major fundraising events, including annual Gala and annual Holiday Party.

·       Secretary: Shall take minutes and maintain records of all membership meetings and Board meetings.

·       Treasurer: Shall oversee financial affairs of the Club.

·       Board of Directors (25 members): Propose policies and motions as deemed necessary for consideration by the membership. Each Board member shall gather 30 petition signatures on behalf of candidates endorsed by the club.
